Marking International Women's Day 2014, T & T Consulting, supported by Woking Borough Council, is delighted to be hosting the inaugural "Enterprising Women Conference" in the heart of Woking.

On Wednesday 5 March, women (and indeed men!), will be gathering at the H.G. Wells Conference and Events Centre to celebrate achievements in business and enterprise, hear inspiring speakers and contribute to thought-provoking debate.

A prominent panel of speakers and industry leaders from the worlds of health and public sector, coaching and mentoring, charity, banking and finance, media and broadcasting, and, management and business strategy - it promises to be a fascinating event followed by networking lunch.

"We are thrilled to be working with Woking Borough Council and facilitating this inaugural event marking International Women's Day, an important date in history that signifies progress, positive change and achievement. It is an illustration of the Council's forward thinking and outward looking approach to enterprise and economic development and growth in the Borough. As a new business to Woking we are excited by the prospects" said Taravat Taher-Zadeh of T & T Consulting.

The panel of speakers are:

  • Heather Lawrence OBE - Inspirational leader with a career history of challenging transitions within the NHS.

  • Tracey Carr - Founder and CEO of Eve-olution & International Forum for Professional Coaching, International Professional Speaker, Performance Coach and serial entrepreneur.

  • Modwenna Rees-Mogg - Former corporate finance and venture capital executive who has launched several successful ventures in business funding.

  • Wendy Carr - With 30 years' experience in project development and managing funding programmes within the voluntary and public sectors, Wendy has been Executive Director of Community Foundation for Surrey since 2005.

  • Juliette Foster - A veteran journalist with more than twenty years media experience, Juliette has worked with some of Europe's leading broadcasting organisations; including BBC Radio & Television, Channel 4 Television, Bloomberg Information Television and Sky News.

  • Angela Mortimer - Founder of one of Europe's most successful recruitment consultancies, Angela Mortimer Plc. Established in 1976, her company and its several successful subsidiaries serving different areas of the recruitment sector, has offices across London, America, Brussels, Amsterdam and Paris.

And last but certainly not least we are thrilled to have

  • Roger Harrop - author, business advisor, mentor, consultant and independent director Roger is the award winning international motivational business growth speaker who inspires and entertains audiences with his acclaimed Staying in the Helicopter® programmes.

This conference is one of a series of exciting initiatives that Woking Borough Council is engaged in as part of its visionary economic and enterprise development programmes and growth for the region.

The conference will take place on Wednesday 5 March 2014 at the H/G. Wells Conference and Events Centre, Woking. Ticket price is £42 plus booking fee. A 20% Early Bird discount will remain available until Sunday 2 March.
