Living well events

There are lots of fantastic services and groups available for older people in Woking, to help them live will and enjoy life - both now and in the future. Making small changes in our lifestyle habits today allows us to have a positive impact on our future health and wellbeing.

Here is a selection of events taking place throughout the year to help get you started on your living well journey:

Dementia Friends Awareness sessions

Dementia Friends gives people an understanding of dementia and the small things you can do that make a difference. These informal sessions are free to attend and open to all. Please join us at one of the below sessions to find out more:

Thursday 19 September, 2pm to 3pm - Woking Hospice
Tuesday 8 October, 6pm to 7pm – Brockhill

Tea dance

Wednesday 2 October 2019, 1pm to 4pm

HG Wells Conference and Events Centre

Informal social event, all dance abilities are welcome and you do not need a partner to join.

Silver Sunday

Sunday 6 October 2019, 3pm to 5pm

United Reformed Church, Woking

Afternoon tea with jazz band entertainment. Advanced booking required. Transport available for those with additional mobility needs.

Christmas gift sale
