Service-related reviews and improvement plans
The Annual Audit and Inspection letter sets out the Audit Commission's findings in respect of our Comprehensive Performance Assessment, our performance management work, our financial standing and comments on our accounts.
The Council, along with all other District Councils in Surrey underwent an inspection by the Audit Commission in early December 2003. Called the Comprehensive Performance Assessment or CPA for short, this is a key element of the government's programme to modernise public services.
The Audit Commission carried out a Cultural Services Review in December 2005.
