Could you be a Councillor? workshop
10 June 2017

To give you more information about the roles and responsibilities of a Councillor, Woking Borough Council is hosting a workshop at Christ Church in Jubilee Square on Saturday 10 June 2017 from 11.30am – 1.30pm.

The workshop aims to give you an overview of how the Council is run, what the Councillor role entails, how a councillor works with the Council and their residents, who is eligible to be a councillor and how to stand for election.

Refreshments will be available and Councillors and Officers will be on hand to answer any questions you may have in regard to this role.

If you are interested in attending this event, please contact Beth Hayllor, Woking Borough Council's Democratic Services Support Officer, on 01483 743056 or email beth.hayllor@woking.gov.uk
