Listed below are several other available sources of funding. If you are thinking of applying to one of them, please feel free to contact sports@woking.gov.uk or phone 01483 743804, as we may have previous successful examples that you can take a look at to help you in your application.

Sport England small grants

Small Grants uses Lottery funding to make awards of between £300 and £10,000 to not-for-profit organisations to help more people play sport.

GLL Sport Foundation Sports Grant

The GLL Sport Foundation is one of the leading independent supporters of young sporting talent in the South of England; having currently provided funding and training grants to over 2000 athletes across 60 different sports at a value of over £1.5million.

The GLL Sport Foundation in partnership with our partners, sponsors and supporters provides tangible support (financial awards and training membership awards) for talented young sports men and women across South England.

The Community Foundation for Surrey

The Community Foundation for Surrey is an independent charitable trust raising the level of giving and building permanent community funds. It awards grants to local community and voluntary groups who make a real difference to people's lives and the quality of life in their communities. These grants are awarded from a growing programme of charitable funds established by individuals, families, companies and trusts who want to support local community projects in Surrey. Surrey County playing fields association

Grants of up to £1,000 are available for equipment, initial set-up costs, disabled facilities, new activities, special events and courses for judges and coaches.

Grants of up to a maximum of £1,000 but usually of £500, are available for children's play equipment, holiday schemes and playgroups. Grants for on-going revenue costs are not available.
