The government has committed to support local newspapers as they adapt to new technology and changing circumstances.
This scheme offers a reduction of £1,500 for office space occupied by local newspapers. The scheme will apply until 31 March 2025.
Application conditions
- The relief will not be available to magazines
- The relief will only be available to local newspapers
- The property must be occupied by a local newspaper and wholly or mainly used as office premises for journalists and reporters
