CONDITIONS OF ISSUE & USE of SEASON TICKETS

1. Season tickets may be used for parking for an unlimited period or any number of occasions during one day in the following car parks;

V - Victoria Way multi-storey car park

T - Toys R Us (Shoppers' - Red) multi-storey car park

WP - Wolsey Place (Shoppers' - Yellow) multi-storey car park - MEZZANINE LEVEL and LEVEL ONE ONLY

H - Heathside Crescent multi-storey car park

B - Brewery Road surface car park

LC - Woking Park surface car park

2. Each season ticket has one of the above codes printed on it.  The season ticket is only valid for the car park to which it relates. Season tickets are valid for use on Saturdays and Sundays.

3. Season ticket holders who use one of the car parks fitted with "Pay on Foot" barrier controlled entry systems will also be issued with a proximity card to enable entry into or exit from the car park when the Automatic Number Plate Recognition System (ANPRS) is not the chosen means of access to the car park.  This proximity card should always be kept in the transparent plastic holder provided to protect it from damage, even when used to enter or exit the car park.  Additional information on correct use is provided with each proximity card.

4. The Council has determined a limit to the number of season tickets available for the various car parks.  All tickets are issued subject to availability.  The purchase of a season ticket does not guarantee that a space will be available in the allocated car park.  Should the car park be full, please call 01483 755855 for advice.

5. Season tickets must be displayed at all times on the windscreen in the adhesive holder supplied for that purpose whilst parked in the car park.  Failure to do so may result in the issue of a penalty charge notice.

6. Season ticket holders parking in Wolsey Place (Shoppers' - Yellow) Multi-Storey car park must only park in the dedicated area on the Mezzanine Level (located below the level on which you enter the car park) or Level One.  Failure to do so may result in the issue of a penalty charge notice.  If you wish to park on the Mezzanine Level please enter through the entry barriers and then drive straight to and through the exit barriers and then proceed down to the Mezzanine Level.

7. Season tickets are issued subject to the Council´s order(s) relating to car parks in force at the time and the Council reserves the right to vary such orders during the currency of the ticket.  Cars are parked at the Owner´s risk and the Council accepts no liability for loss or damage to any vehicle or part thereof, nor will it accept liability for the death of or injury to any person(s) arising out of the use of the car park, save insofar as such death or injury is caused by the negligence of the Authority, its servants or agents.

8. Season ticket renewal - reminder letters will not be sent to holders when season tickets are due for renewal.  The responsibility rests with the holders to make application to renew their season ticket(s) prior to the expiry date of the existing ticket.  Three working days are required to issue any new season ticket.

9. A refund may be available for those ticket holders who wish to permanently surrender their ticket.  The amount of any refund will be calculated as follows:

Annual Tickets - 1/12 of the annual charge for each complete calendar month surrendered, less an administrative charge of £7.50 (inclusive of VAT).
Quarterly Tickets - 1/3 of the quarterly charge for each complete calendar month surrendered, less an administrative charge of £7.50 (inclusive of VAT).
Monthly Tickets - No refunds will be made.

10. On receipt of the season ticket/proximity card, the number printed on each should be recorded by the holder or company administrator for future reference.  Companies which have block bookings of season tickets/proximity cards must maintain records of the individual holders that they are issued to.

11. If a season ticket is lost it will be replaced, subject to an administrative charge of £24.50 (inclusive of VAT).  If a proximity card is lost it will be replaced, subject to an administrative charge of £30 (inclusive of VAT).
A replacement season ticket or proximity card will only be issued if the number of the lost season ticket or proximity card can be confirmed.  A request for a replacement season ticket/proximity card must be made in writing, setting out the circumstances of the loss and the number of the season ticket/proximity card.
In the event that a season ticket or proximity card is stolen, this must be reported to the Police and then, in writing, to the Council, giving details of the season ticket/proximity card number and the police crime reference number.

12. The Council reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withdraw a season ticket/proximity card at any time upon giving one month´s notice.  A pro-rata refund of the remaining period of the season ticket will be made, on the basis set out above.

13. Any change in contact details (address, contact telephone number) should be notified to the Council in writing as soon as possible to ensure that no delays are experienced in contacting a season ticket holder.

14. Should the season ticket/proximity card not be available when using the car park, the daily charge should be paid.  No refund of any parking charges incurred will be made.

LOCK YOUR CAR, DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES ON DISPLAY AND REPORT ANY SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOUR THAT YOU SEE TO THE PARKING HOT-LINE.
