Essential statutory framework for applications
Woking Borough Council has adopted a checklist of requirements for the submission of planning applications that accords with the below legislation and advice.
- Planning applications: The Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended by the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 and detailed in the Town and Country Planning) (General Development Procedure) (England) (Amendment) Order 2008 (SI 2008 No.550) and The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (Amendment) (England) Order 2008 (SI 2008 No.675)).
- Listed building consent and conservation area consent: Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 and the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2008 (SI 2008 No.551).
- Advertising consent: Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) (England) Regulations 2007 (SI 2007 No.783).
- Planning fees: Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications and Deemed Applications) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2008 (SI 2008 No.958).
