Property services offer advice to residents on all matters relating to Council owned property. 

Within the service area there are several other related services.

Valuation services

Valuation services deal with:

• All valuation issues on Council-owned land and property.  See the land and property ownership page for further information the Council's ownership. 
• Day-to-day management of our business premises, excluding Council housing properties.  You can find further information on renting business premises on our business premises page.  

• The valuation of right to buy and shared ownership properties.

Building services

Building services is responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of Council-owned:

• buildings,

• structures,

• fixtures,

• mechanical and electrical services,

• energy efficiency project management throughout the Council's corporate and housing properties,

• facilities management.
