New (2nd) Core Strategy

The timetable for preparation of a new Core Strategy, is included in the Local Development Scheme (LDS) which was approved by the Council's Executive and the Government Office for the South East in November 2007.

The Council will undertake the:

• Issues and Options Consultation in October-November 2008.

• Consultation on the Preferred Options in May-June 2009.

• Submit the New Core Strategy in December 2009.

• Adopt the Core Strategy in December 2010.
