Local Development Scheme - July 2009

The Local Development Scheme (LDS) sets out the timetable for the Council's preparation of the Development Plan Documents that will make up the Local Development Framework. 

This version of the Local Development Scheme was approved by the Government Office for the South East on 2 July 2009 and was brought into effect on 24 July by a Council resolution on 16 July 2009.   

This is the same version of the LDS that was previously known at Committee stage as ‘June 2009 version 3a’ and has been re-dated to reflect the Council’s resolution.

The revised work programme set out above, which takes into account changes to the plan-making system introduced by the Government in Planning Policy Statement 12 (June 2008) and the Planning Act 2008 together with amending Regulations.
