Taxi and private hire licensing

Woking Borough Council issues licences for:

The Council:

  • Ensures the safety of those using taxis and private hire vehicles in the Borough through the licensing of drivers, operators and vehicles
  • Investigates complaints relating to taxis and private hire vehicles
  • Works with the taxi and private hire trade to secure improvements to the existing service
