Food Hygiene Rating

Woking Borough Council is introducing a Food Hygiene Rating Scheme for food businesses providing food for the public. After each food hygiene inspection, a rating will be given based on hygiene compliance at the time of the visit. The rating will be published on a national database and consumers will be able to look up the rating before they choose where to purchase food or eat out.

Workshops for food business operators

In advance of the scheme, workshops are being organised so that food business operators can learn how the scheme works and how to improve their future rating. These workshops are taking place on the following dates.

Seminar Location Date Time
Camberley Theatre, Knoll Road, Camberley Monday 28 February 2011 2pm

Attendance is not compulsory but is free of charge and businesses are encouraged to attend one of them. The content of each will be identical and it is suggested that the owner plus head chef would be the appropriate people to attend.
