Dust off your sun hats, grab those sunglasses, pack your picnic basket and get into the festival spirit, as the free, family-friendly, Party in the Park returns to Woking Park on Saturday 5 July 2014, from 12noon to 7pm!

Join Dallas Campbell from BBC's Bang Goes the Theory for an extravaganza of live music, dance, sport, performances and activities for all ages to enjoy - and it's free to attend!

Game, set and match
The Party's crowning glory will be a Big Screen showing live sport including the opening stage of the Tour de France from Yorkshire, the Wimbledon women's singles final and the first of the day's World Cup quarter final matches. To make the most of the screening, remember to bring along a picnic and blanket or get your food and drink from a variety of food vendors.

Brass on the Grass
Chill out on the lawn in our Vintage Field, where our `Brass on the Grass' bands Herd of Sax, Alder Valley Brass and Grandpa's Spells will get your fingers clicking and your toes tapping to the sounds of swing and jazz music. Learn some smooth ballroom moves with First Dance Studios, grab a treat from Salvation Cakes or visit the old fashioned sweet stalls. Enjoy a Victorian funfair ride or try your luck at the coconut shy.

Dancing in the Park
Dance Woking will showcase their inspiring performances featuring both community and professional dance companies. There will be opportunities to watch, perform and take part.

Professional companies Sonja Sabri Company, Grounded, Tavaziva Dance and Amina Khayyam Dance Company, will treat you to a variety of dance styles including Asian and African fusion, street, acrobatic, lindy hop and tap. It promises to be powerful, memorable and explosive!

And if that's not enough, why not pop along to the Have a Go Tent where you can learn a few dance moves!

Feeling sporty?
If you feel like getting active, have a go at a penalty shoot out with Woking Football Club or test your basketball skills with Woking Blackhawks Basketball Club. Children can give a wiggle or two with Diddi Dance, try a taster session of Body Combat and Body Balance from Freedom Leisure, or face the challenge of their inflatable obstacle course, along with lots of activities taking place at the new outdoor 3G sports pitches. If racquet sports are more your thing, try some tennis for all ages with Woking Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

Let your kids have fun!
Bezerkaz Circus can teach you how to juggle and spin plates, and will perform their impressive circus skills throughout the day. You can also find out how to be a farmer for the day at the Mill Cottage Farm Experience. There will be plenty of animals from sheep, pigs and goats to chickens. So come along and pet some furry friends. Alternatively, come and get musical with Surrey Live's percussion workshops.

Down by the pond you'll find a hub of entertainment for children, especially the little ones. Sit down to hear enchanting tales from Red Phoenix Storytelling and be enthralled by Punch and Judy shows. You can also demonstrate your artistic talents by helping us build a cardboard forest amongst the shady trees with Refab Arts.

Get crafty in our arts and crafts village!
Join Think Make Do to create your own bunting in cheerful colours to take home or have a go at weaving plates and sticks with I Made This to create an amazing piece of art. Or, just sit back and let one of the WWF's face-painters transform you into your favourite animal.
