Updated: Friday 18 January 2013, 3.05pm.

Significant snow showers are forecast across the country over the next couple of days and, as a result, there may be some disruption to our services.

During severe weather, our waste collection service may be disrupted. There may also be disruptions to our other services, such as Centres for the Community closures and changes to the Community Meals service.

We will provide regular service updates and advice on this website and on our Twitter feed @WokingCouncil.

We can all help support our local communities and neighbours. Helpful information and advice about preparing for winter can be found on Surrey County Council's website here.
