Pitches and Amenity Greens

There are a number of sports pitches and facilities available at parks and recreational grounds throughout the borough of Woking.

Football, Cricket and Rugby Pitch Booking Service

Woking Borough Council operate a full time pitch booking service (9am-5pm, Monday to Friday) for local teams within the Borough. Football pitches are available at 10 sites across the Borough from September to April (however there is one summer pitch available at Goldsworth Park from May to September). There are 5 venues that support cricket through the summer months between May to August and Byfleet Recreation Ground is the only venue with a rugby facility.

Regular Users

Local teams who require a facility throughout their respective season should apply in advance by contacting Neighbourhood Services on 01483 743698. Teams will be asked to submit an application form, insurance details and a list of their season's fixtures. Prices for 2009/2010 are listed within the table below.

One-off Bookings

There is the possibility that one-off bookings can be accommodated depending on availability. Teams or organisations will need to submit an application form after contacting Neighbourhood Services on 01483 743698.

Tennis Courts

There are tennis courts available in the borough, other than at Woking Park, that can be played on without needing to book.  If in doubt about whether courts need to be booked please contact Neighbourhood Services on 01483 743821.
