External Funding Opportunities

Surrey High Sherrif Youth Council Awards

Last year close to £55,000 was awarded to projects that met the criteria.  The application process is a simple one;  just two sides of A4 or on-line.  Very few applications are refused and the assessor will also try to suggest other funding opportunities.  Often, successful applicants are offered a formal presentation of the cheque and certificate by the High Sheriff, Lady Toulson CBE (for 2009-10).  For further information and application forms please visit www.surreyhighsheriff.org

There are a whole variety of external funding bodies that local groups, clubs, organisations and individuals can access.  In order to help you to find the most relevant schemes, Active Surrey have a database listing the available funds along with their criteria.
