Play areas

Woking Borough Council prides itself on providing innovative and challenging play equipment throughout the Borough in its 39 Play Areas.

In 2006 Woking Borough Council completed phase 1 of a play area improvement programme which involved the refurbishment and redesign of eleven play areas across the Borough.  This work was carried out in co-ordination with the Council's appointed play area design partner, Russell Leisure Ltd.

Planning for Phase 2 of the programme is underway and will see further play areas improved during 2008.  Consultation on the proposal for each play areas will be clearly advertised in advance and full details will be available on this website.
