Free access for county sportspeople
Free Access for County Sportspeople (FACS)
The Woking Free Access for County Sportspeople (FACS) scheme enables county sportspeople to train free of charge at Woking Leisure Centre, Pool in the Park, Winston Churchill Sports Centre and Woking Athletics Track.
The FACS scheme is open to young people who are between 11-19 years of age (or in further education), living in the Borough of Woking. All members must be a current representative at county standard or above and must provide a supporting letter from an officer of their Governing Body of Sport confirming this level. All members are restricted to free use during off peak times and peak times if the facility is available.

Woking Leisure Centre and Pool in the Park Facilities:

To become a member:
- Check your eligibility
- Read the conditions attached to the scheme (below)
- Complete and sign the form and return the application form along with the appropriate supporting documents and two passport photos.
You will be notified when your application has been accepted and your FACs scheme card is ready for collection at Woking Leisure Centre. Please note that when filling out the online form, you will still need to submit the supporting evidence and photographs.
General Conditions
- Must be a current representative at county standard or above.
- Must provide a supporting letter from an officer of their Governing Body of Sport confirming this level.
- Must fall within the age categories listed: 11-19 years or in further education and must live in the Borough of Woking.
- Must show a valid FACS card on every visit to the Leisure facilities. Valid for individual training purposes only.
- Will be restricted to the use of facilities and activities that complement the sport in which they represent their county. These facilities and activities will be listed on the FACS card.
- Can only use facilities if they are available and do not prevent use by paying customers.
- Cannot book facilities in advance.
- Must notify the Sports Development Officer of any change to their status.
- Must renew their FACS membership annually (if still eligible).
- Will be expected to assist in promotional events whenever possible and appropriate.
Facilities Conditions
All FACS Scheme members:
- Are restricted to free use during off peak times, and peak times if the facility is available.
- Must pay full fees for all other activities/ facilities not included on the FACS card.
- Must complete and pay for a gym induction to enable use of this facility.
- If 14-15 years, must attend the supervised Junior Fitness Club sessions or at times by prior agreement with the Fitness Suite Manager.
- Are permitted free access for their coach/ instructor through prior agreement (see application form)
