What is Clubmark?

The Sport England 'Clubmark' scheme is a national accreditation for sports clubs who demonstrate they are 'safe, effective and child-friendly'. The scheme has a set of standards for clubs to meet in order to achieve Clubmark status, and enables parents, carers and young people to recognise a quality sports club.

When working on the Clubmark scheme you will be encouraged and supported along the way by ourselves at Woking Borough Council, colleagues at Active Surrey and a representative from your governing body.

Clubmark is the generic scheme for every sport, however many National Governing Bodies of Sport have their own Clubmark scheme as well.
