There are a number of opportunities available for disability sport both in Woking and across Surrey.
The Health and Well Being team produce a bi-monthly e-newsletter to include any sports good news stories from across the borough, any comments or any events or courses we have coming up which may be of interest to Sports clubs and Sports people.
Free Access for County Sportspeople and Free Access for National Sportspeople are two initiatives that are available to provide free access to sports facilities to both county and national standard sportspeople.
There are a variety of options available whether it is a small grant or funding for a larger project.
A positive community link between local schools and sports clubs has a huge number of benefits to both parties with the overall gain being more people participating in sport.
Sport Woking exists to promote participation and excellence in sport and the provision of the best possible sporting facilities in the borough. It exists specifically to represent the needs of the sporting community to Woking Borough Council and other local and regional sports bodies.
