Class Descriptions

All classes are taught by fully qualified and experienced instructors.

In-House Classes

These internally run classes are included in the Health and Leisure membership

Ab Attack
30 minutes of hi/lo fat burning aerobics followed with 30 minutes of intensive abdominal / core conditioning for an all over workout which concentrates on the stomach and waistline.

Body Fitness
An enjoyable overall fitness workout for the daytime exerciser.

Bodysculpt / Sweat'n'Sculpt
An innovative class utilizing barbell weights in a structured aerobics format helping you to achieve the perfect toned body. Sweat'n'Sculpt also adds a cardio workout into the mix!

Boxfit
Boxing techniques incorporated into a circuit based format for a highly motivational and exciting cass.

Circuit Training
A traditional and very popular set of classes for the seasoned exerciser

Fun Way 2 Fitness
Fun Way 2 Fitness is a fun and friendly total body workout to suit all shapes,sizes and levels of fitness. Use of fitness balls and light handweights is encouraged (but not compulsory) to make this workout more of a challenge to the regular exerciser.

ICE Indoor Cycling Evolution
ICE Cycling is a fantastic way to push yourself challenging every muscle to the max as your instructor pushes you through a course of hills, sprints and overtaking. This new class is suitable for all, from beginners to advanced and for any age from teenagers upwards. A great class for fat burning, stamina building and fun!
ICE must be booked in advance.

Fight Klub - NEW!
FightKlub is a kickboxing fitness class using free standing punch bags.
A lively mix of music, aerobics, martial arts techniques and contact.

Benefits can include weight loss, a good cardiovascular workout, body toning, stress relief, and fun!

Fight Klub combines punching, kicking, knee and elbow strikes with a motivational instructor.

All abilities welcome. Book (up to 7 days) in advance.

Stamina Step
A class that focuses on improving different components of fitness including cardiovascular fitness, strength, endurance and tone with the use of step stations.

Total Body Conditioning
Total Body Conditioning offers a higher intensity class for the more serious exerciser to increase body tone and condition.

Yoga with Debbie
Stability, energy, flexibility, relaxation, balance and tranquility.

Zumba / Samba Salsa Aerobics
Dance your way to a fitter you with exciting and unique latin moves and rhythms.

NEW Bootcamp
An outdoors circuit class for the summer designed to give  you a rough'n'tough work out.

Externally Run Classes

Customers must pay admission fee to leisure centre reception and class fee directly to their instructor.

Moves Fitness
Cindy Gilbert, former US Olympic athlete and founder of Moves Fitness personally leads the mild to moderate exercise programme she has devised for Moves Fitness throughout the UK.
