Work Experience Placement Scheme

Woking Leisure Centre and Pool in the Park offer a work experience scheme for students. The aim of the scheme is to provide experience of a real working environment, an insight into the leisure industry and also to improve awareness of the functions of the Council as a major employer and service provider.

Placements are usually for between one and two weeks. The scheme is open to Year 10 students (aged 15/16).  In some cases long term work placements can be agreed subject to a satisfactory work experience interview being completed.
