Fifty Plus Club

Our 50 Plus Club is open to everyone over the age of 50.

Although a club, there are no joining fees - simply turn up each week to enjoy a wide range of activities and a sociable way of keeping fit.

  • Steam Room
  • Table Tennis
  • Short Mat Bowls
  • Country Dancing
  • Water Exercise

All of the equipment required for the activities is supplied. All you need are clothes that will allow you to move freely and trainers or non-marking plimsolls.

How to Join

Simply come along to one of the sessions at the Leisure Centre (listed below)  and inform the receptionists that you are interested in joining the 50 Plus Club. They will introduce you to a committee member who will show you around the facilities and give you a start-up pack which contains full details of activities and times.

50 Plus Club Session Times

Mondays: 2pm - 5pm.
Tuesdays: 1.30pm - 5pm.
Thursdays: 9.30am - 12.30pm.

Fees Per Session

£4 per session

50 Plus Club is also incuded in Key Fitness Concession membership which costs £21 per month or £210 per annum and also includes swimming at Pool in the Park, internally run wet and dry fitness classes (around 40 to choose from each week), use of the Evolve Fitness Suite gym (£2.50  surcharge after 6pm), Heatwaves Health Suite (Sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room) and squash and badminton.
