Daycamps booking information

General Points for Booking

  • All activities must be booked and paid for in advance. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
  • Bookings can be reserved over the telephone, but will only be held for 48 hours without payment.
  • Bookings can be made Monday to Sunday between 9am and 7pm. Bookings can be made in person at Pool in the Park and Woking Leisure Centre or by telephone on 01483 771122.
  • Woking Leisure Centre may have to cancel activities if there are insufficient numbers (refunds will only be given in these and medical circumstances).
  • Woking Leisure Centre reserves the right to amend the programme where necessary.
  • In accordance with Ofsted regulations all parents will be required to complete a new registration form annually (one per child). These should be completed and returned before your child attends daycamps.
  • If the children are going out on a trip, a trip consent form will be required to be completed. This must be completed and returned before the child goes on the trip.

Children with Special Needs

  • Parents of children with special needs, medical needs, allergies or medication carriers must contact the Children's Activities Development Officer prior to booking on 01483 771122.

Don't Forget!

  • Daycamps make use of the facilities at both Woking Leisure Centre and Pool in the Park - appropriate sports and swimwear are required everyday.  Socks are essential for trampolining sessions.
  • Full supervision is given throughout the day in accordance with Ofsted recommendations and our great value daycamps include a choice of healthy lunch with dessert plus video/DVD entertainment or cartoons.
  • Offsite trips require a packed lunch - please ensure that no glass bottles are included with your child's meal.
  • Children on the 8-13's daycamps must be able to swim 25 metres (in deep water).  Children on the 5-7's daycamps who are non-swimmers must wear armbands.  Please ensure they are clearly labelled.
  • We recommend that the children bring a drink for mid-morning and extra snacks if they are staying for the Chill Out session.
  • Please ensure that children arrive promptly for morning registration.  All children must be signed in and out by an adult over the age of eighteen.  You will be issued with a security card - this card must be shown to staff for them to release your child from Daycamps.
  • Please ensure that children are collected from Chill-outs by 6pm at the latest.  Late pick ups at the normal time or Chill out time will be subject to an extra charge.
