Surrey's Big Drink Debate - it's your shout

For some people, drinking means having a glass of wine at the end of a busy week or joining friends down the pub for a couple of well-deserved pints. But statistics show that, in Surrey in particular, drinking has increased and is leading to major problems for the health of people and our communities.

The aim of Surrey's Big Drink Debate is to raise awareness about the risks of excessive alcohol consumption and assess whether there is an excessive drinking problem in Surrey.

The Big Drink Debate wants to have an open discussion, to find out what local people think about alcohol. The results will be used to help write a Surrey alcohol strategy, with the aim of reducing the harm caused by alcohol.

This is your chance to influence what happens next and Woking Borough Council is encouraging local residents to get involved.

Have your say now by completing the survey at: http://www.surreybigdrinkdebate.nhs.uk/survey/index.asp

You won't be identified by the answers you give, but your views will help us enormously.
