Gardening for Life

This long running LA21 initiative has five main aims:

• Reduce water use in the garden
• Cut down on use of pesticides and inorganic fertilisers
• Use alternatives to peat
• Compost kitchen and garden waste
• Attract wildlife and create habitats

Take part in the Garden Wildlife Watch during April each year to help LA21 to monitor changes to wildlife in the Woking Borough.  You can download a printable version of the survey form or complete the survey online.

Discover the Gardening For Life Flowerbed project, which has been unfolding in Woking Town Centre.

Woking LA21 also work with Woking Borough Council to promote the Woking In Bloom competition.  Check the Woking In Bloom pages to find out how to enter the competition across a range of exciting categories.
