Surrey urban biodiversity project

The work of the Surrey Urban Biodiversity Project includes:

Monitoring and Promoting the Surrey Urban Habitat Action Plan (HAP)   

                                                                              

Working with Woking Borough Council to produce a local Biodiversity Action Plan (LBAP).
Working with urrey Wildlife Trust to promote the Surrey BAP, and the Urban HAP to all local authorities in Surrey.
Monitoring the 'Wildlife on your Doorstep' Heritage Lottery Fund Project.  Local groups have carried out work on 5 sites in Surrey that received grant funding to improve access, habitats and interpretation.
"Gardening for Life" - working with partners including the Woking LA21 group and Surrey Wildlife Trust to make this project a county-wide scheme.

Producing a guide for developers to incorporate biodiverstiy into new developments
