Allotments

Regardless of whether you are an experienced or novice gardener, an allotment could offer you more than you think! It could provide you with a new hobby, exercise or fresh home grown produce.

As well as outdoor exercise, allotment gardening allows you to have more control over the foods you are eating. By choosing your own fertilisers, you could grow organic foods on your very own allotment plot. It has been widely publicised as being better for you, but it can be expensive. By growing your own produce you can save money and become healthier.

There are currently nine allotment sites throughout Woking with a new site due to open on Carthouse Lane in Spring 2012. Plots cost from as little as £25 a year though prices vary between sites.

To check availability of plots, please contact the relevant allotment society directly. Though please note that some sites have long waiting lists.
