Leaseholders Repairs Service

Woking Borough Council leaseholders now have the opportunity to employ the Woking Repairs Service to carry out minor maintenance repairs in their homes.

What repairs can be carried out?

The following schedule of works shows the costs of a range of minor repairs that Woking Repairs Service can carry out for Woking Borough Council leaseholders:

Out of hours emergencies

Woking Repairs Service can attend on an emergency basis between the hours of 5pm and 8am, seven days a week. An emergency will include:

  • making safe water leaks
  • changing door locks
  • boarding up broken windows.

For this service, an additional £40 will be charged on top of the cost of the repair as shown in the schedule of work.

Will an appointment be made for my repair to be carried out?

The Woking Repairs Service will arrange an appointment with you for all non-emergency repairs. Unless your repair is an emergency, we will carry out the repair within 25 days of a request. Our appointment slots are at the following times:

  • Monday to Friday, 8am - 11am.
  • Monday to Friday, 11am - 1pm.
  • Monday to Friday, 1pm - 4pm.

How do I contact you to arrange a repair to be carried out? 

To use the Leaseholder Repair Service, please phone the Woking Repairs Service on 0800 521555, betweeen 9am and 5pm. Please only phone this number between 5pm and 8am if it is an emergency.

How do I arrange payment for a repair? 

You will be asked to sign acceptance before any work is carried out. On completion of the work, the charge will be raised and the invoice produced. You will receive a payment book and will be expected to pay in full, within 21 days of the completion of the work.
