Housing Strategy 2011-2016

This is the Council’s Housing Strategy 2011 – 2016. The strategy outlines the Council's plans and priorities over the next five years, and focuses on delivering four key housing objectives in the Borough:

• providing well-designed, quality homes that are affordable and suit people’s needs;
• preventing homelessness and providing help to people in housing need;
• helping people to achieve independence and choice;
• making better use of all existing housing

The Strategy has 5 action plans, detailing how the Council will achieve its housing objectives.
