Recycle (including the Recycling Directory)

Woking Borough Council encourages residents to recycle.

 Please  remember the 3Rs:

  1. REDUCE the amount you use
Create less waste: avoid over-packaged products and disposable items such as razors, paper handkerchiefs, paper towels and face wipes.
  2. RE-USE as much as you can
Remember that buying re-usable and refillable products can save you money.
  3. RECYCLE whenever possible
Try to recycle as much as possible - glass, aluminium and steel cans, paper and cardboard, plastics and textiles. Only collect materials that can be recycled in your area and remember not to make a special trip.

Always look for products made from recycled material - such as toilet or kitchen paper.

The Recycling Loop

Help close the recycling loop by buying products made from recycled material such as toilet or kitchen roll.

Woking Borough Council provides a kerbside collection of a range of recyclable materials through the Household waste collection service and garden waste collection. Recycling facilities are also available within the Borough. The Really Useful Recycling Directory offers further information on recycling.
