All plastic bottle tops can go into your recycling container, it is helpful though if the tops are first removed from the bottles as this makes it easier for the vehicle's compactor to squash the bottles to maxmise capacity.

Where can I take other plastic household items which are not listed?

Contact your local charity shops to find out if they would be interested in your old toys, cds or garden furniture. You would be helping the environment and raise money for a charity of your choice. Alternatively, bulky rigid plastic items, such as plastic chairs, can be taken to the Community Recycling Centres at Martyrs Lane or Slyfield Industrial Estate.
