The Kitchen Composter is the perfect accessory to a traditional home composter. It allows all food waste, including left over cooked food, to be placed in a handy counter-top unit. Each layer of waste is then covered with a sprinkling of Bokashi - a bran which is coated in friendly bacteria. This bran treats and deodorises the food waste allowing it to be safely composted in a traditional composter after just 14 days.
