Green burials
Some people would like, as an alternative to the usual forms of funeral, to be buried in a woodland or other peaceful site, with a shrub or tree planted. They may wish to have a different form of ceremony.
- Greenwoodland Burial Services Ltd offer an environmentally friendly, cost effective alternative to traditional funerals, cemeteries and graveyards. They manage the local green burial site, Oakfield Wood near Guildford.
