Best Value Satisfaction Surveys

All local authorities are required to ask sets of uniform questions to give people an idea about how the Council is performing. The Government set the questions we are obliged to ask. Most often, the questions are the same as the previous satisfaction surveys to allow comparisons to be made over time at a local and national level.

The areas of services we are required to carry out surveys in are:

  • Benefits Satisfaction
  • General Satisfaction
  • Planning Satisfaction
  • Tenants Satisfaction

Once all the results are collated we submit them electronically to the Audit Commission and then it is the job of Communities and Local Government Office to make comparisons between authorities and assess areas of strength and weakness. You can find more information on this by visiting their website.

Reports with the results of the Woking 2006-2007 surveys are available to view in this section on the right hand side of this page.
