Task groups of the overview and scrutiny committee

The Overview and Scrutiny Committee co-ordinates all elements of overview and scrutiny activity at Woking Borough Council. Under the Committee, two types of Task Group have been established in order to undertake scrutiny reviews.

Standing Task Groups - These are Task Groups that do not have a limited life span, and currently provide an overview of the financial and housing services of the Council.

Ad Hoc Task Groups - These Task Groups have a limited life span and review specific topics and Council services as agreed by the Overview and Scrutiny Committee.
