Responsibilities

The Planning Committee is responsible for:

  • planning applications
  • enforcement action
  • planning agreements
  • lawful use or development advertisement control
  • listed buildings
  • conservation areas
  • tree preservation
  • minerals and waste disposal
  • hazardous substances
  • development proposals by Surrey County Council and the Borough Council

Meetings

The Planning Committee meets 15 times a year.  Meetings are held in the Council Chamber, Civic Offices, on Tuesdays at 7 pm.

The right to speak at Planning Committee
