Executive meetings (including the forward plan of key decisions)

The Council's Executive is made up of five Councillors and meets twelve times a year.  In May of each year, the Council elects the Leader of the Executive and appoints four Councillors to the Executive.

Responsibilities

The Executive is accountable for decision-making within the Council's overall policies and budget framework and recommends to the Council on new policies and decisions outside its remit, ensuring the consistent application of corporate standards.

When major decisions are to be discussed or made, these are published in the Executive's Forward Plan of Key Decisions
