Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives people a general right of access to information held by or on behalf of public authorities. It aims to promote a culture of openness and accountability across the public sector.

If you would like information about how Woking Borough Council carries out its duties, takes the decisions it does, spends public money etc., then you would apply under the Freedom of Information Act.
