You will need to pay the normal price of £8 or £4 (concession) for a Community Centre membership card even if you have already paid for a key card. Your Community Centre Membership will however become the dominant membership and your sign up date will dictate the annual expiry date usually resulting in an extension on the expiry date for all your different memberships (i.e. status - over 60s - membership).
The annual renewal fee will be the fees and charges publicised rate at that time.

The benefit is that customers who might not be eligible in their own right to apply for a concession membership are able to do so because of their guardian or partners eligibility. A dependent is: someone under the age of 16 living at the same address as their guardian who is in receipt of a key Community Centre concession membership.
Or
A partner of someone already in receipt of a key Community Centre concession membership living at the same address i.e. Pension Credit.
Standard cards do not get discounts on activities at the Leisure Centre and Pool generally, however they will get discounts at the restaurant and on some sports equipment. Status and concession memberships both get discounts on activities. See Leisure Centre and Pool prices or key partners and benefits for further information.
You can cancel the membership but there is no refund due. Please inform us if you cancel your membership.

For carers, access to the service would be free when undertaking a caring role, but when attending in their own right, the Councils current interim arrangement of offering access at the status rate would apply (unless an individual qualifies in their own right at the concession rate).
