Sheerwater Youth Centre

Is currently in the process of recruiting a new full time Neighbourhood Youth Worker and additional part-time youth workers and, consequently, is not open as much as usual. At present activities are limited to Sunday afternoons and evenings. For more information call 01483 598301

Woking Youth Centre

Walton Road, Maybury, Woking, GU21 5DL

Is now open Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 7:30pm to 10pm. Additional part-time staff have been recruited and will result in the youth centre being able to open on a third evening (Monday or Thursday)

The centre is open for all young people aged 14 to 19. There is a coffee bar area with Sky TV, a pool table and a small sports hall. For further information about this centre please contact 01483 766903.

Lakers Youth Centre

Denton Way, Goldsworth Park, Woking, Surrey, GU21 3LG

A new Neighbourhood Youth Worker has been appointed, Beckie Wain (rebecca.wain@surreycc.gov.uk) along with a new Youth Worker in Charge, Caroline Lynch. The Youth Centre will be opening on Thursdays from 10 June 2010, between 7pm and 9pm for a five week circus skills course. Activities and courses will be during the school holidays. Woking Youth Arts Centre ( WYAC)

Trinity Road, Knaphill, Woking, Surrey. GU21 2SY

WYAC is Surrey Youth Development service's dedicated new youth arts facility in Knaphill, Woking for young people between 11 and 25. The centre features a state of the art recording studio, drama and dance studios and performance stage. WYAC also boasts an independent Advice and Resource centre (ARC) where young people can access the Internet, obtain support undertaking homework and also book onto any of the diverse range of arts projects taking place at the centre.

'Live & Direct' is a Youth Music Project encourages song writing and music skills amongst young people aged 11-19, with tution from professionalsand is currently running out of WYAC.
