Youth Council Grants

Have you got a project idea which would benefit your community that you want to get off the ground?

If the answer's yes, and you live in Woking Borough, are aged between 11 and 19 years old, or up to 25 for young people with special needs, the Youth Councillors would like to hear from you.

Woking Youth Council would like to support young people who have an idea to improve facilities in their local area or maybe help them set up a project that will benefit young people via the Small Grants Scheme on behalf of young people.

The youth council meet once a month to consider applications. Make sure you get your application in and get involved!

The Woking Youth Council wants to help as many young people in Woking with activities, projects and clubs that are important to them all.

The small grants scheme is open to all young people and is for a maximum of £500 for exceptional project, with the average award being £275.

Previous grants that have been accepted include dance tuition, oversee expeditions and help with equipment for clubs.

Applications forms are available from Woking Borough Council.
