Woking has many different groups and clubs that are open to all young people throughout the Borough.

Girlguiding UK works with young people from 5- 21 years old. There are groups throughout Woking who will welcome new members as well as people who are able to help.

The Scout Association provides adventurous activities and personal development opportunities for 400,000 young people aged 6-25. Internationally, we have over 28 million young people enjoying the benefits of Scouting across 216 countries. Personal development means promoting the physical, intellectual, social and spiritual well-being of the individual, helping them achieve their full potential.

Cadets go to sea, learn to sail and do adventure training, all on a nautical theme, plus get extra skills to give you a head start in life. If you are between 10 and 12 you can join as a Junior, 12 to 18 as a Sea Cadet and 13 to 18 as a Royal Marines Cadet. The Woking Sea Cadets meet at Goldsworth Lake and would welcome any new members who want to learn more navy related skills.

Better known as the 'Air Cadets', we’re a UK-wide cadet force with more than 40,000 members aged between 13 and 20 years

Duke of Edinburgh Award is a nationally recognised award which allows you to work on a variety of challenges and community work to your highest standard.

Vinspired is the place for you to check out if you are already volunteering and want some support. V can support you in many ways, and help you work towards recognition of all your hard work.

Do It gives a updated list of many volunteer opportuniites that are available in Woking and a little further afield. If you want to make a difference in other people's lives find out who is looking for people to do just this!

Peer Productions run a successful Youth Theatre group on a Sunday at the Woking Youth Arts Centre (WYAC).

Live and Direct is a song writing and gig support network for young people aged 13 to 19 years who are interested in music. The group create original music and current styles include rock, pop, grime, hip-hop, RnB, drum n bass and metal. The programme is led by music industry professionals and is delivered in ten-week blocks, three times per year.

Attitude youth night is for 11 to 17 year olds from the Kingfield, Westfield, Old Woking and Barnsbury area.

Maybury and Sheerwater Sports Club organises football and cricket teams for young people in the area to get involved with.

Of course, there are times when you may just want somewhere to talk to friends, have a drink and a game of pool so don't forget the Youth Clubs which are in the Borough!
