National Play Day

Play Day the annual celebration of children’s right to play is on Wednesday 5 August 2009, and Woking Borough Council will be celebrating this summer at Woking Town Square from 11am-4pm with den building, mud mashing, change4life and other activities still to be confirmed

Busy, hectic and often overscheduled lifestyles sometimes mean children don’t always get enough time to just play. This year’s Playday theme – Make time!  is calling for everyone to think about how they can make time for children’s play and also have a great day out on Playday.
