Sponsorship opportunities

Woking Borough Council co-ordinates a wide range of community projects, events and schemes which could all benefit from sponsorship from local companies.

Your business could help to:

• sponsor a team of young athletes in the Surrey Youth Games

• pay for one of our key publications for residents. The Purple Pages is a useful directory for the over fifties and Fun Attack is a colourful brochure for young people who may be looking for something to do over the summer holidays
• recognise residents who make an extra special contribution to the local community by funding the Good Neighbour and Young Persons' Civic Award schemes
• provide prizes for winners of the Woking in Bloom competition
• support One World Week  - a lively and colourful annual event which celebrates diversity in our community.

This list gives a flavour of the type of projects that you could support, but it is by no means comprehensive.
