Woking TCM is a successful private/public funded initiative which was established in 2003. Woking Borough Council is a key partner in TCM and its Civic Offices are home to the Town Centre Manager.
To bring together the resources and goodwill of the public and private sectors in order to raise the quality of Woking Town Centre from the point of view of its users.
Current funding partners:- Ambassadors, Barclay's, Boots, Holiday Inn, The Peacocks Centre, Surrey County Council, Woking Borough Council, Woking Chamber, Wolsey Place Shopping Centre, H G Wells, Lightbox, and Morrisons Solicitors.
Other partners: - Surrey Police, South West Trains, Inland Revenue, Surrey Learning & Skills Council, Woking News & Mail, Cap Gemini Ernst and Young, Starbucks etc
To develop an agreed vision statement of the role and the general character of the Town Centre.
To produce an action plan which will enable the realisation of the vision statement, and to keep it up to date.
To implement, and to encourage others to implement, the agreed action plan.
To offer the cooperation of our respective organisations, and encourage the cooperation of the others, to ensure the effective management of the town Centre.
Woking TCM produces a quarterly magazine, Woking Uncovered, for members of the local business community to keep them up-to-date with local news and issues. To receive copies of this magazine, please contact the Town Centre Manager on 01483 755855.

The Learning & Skills Council was established in 2001 and is responsible for planning and funding all the government post-16 education and training, except higher education. Surrey LSC is one of the 47 local offices and focuses on the needs of the County of Surrey and help businesses to get the best possible opportunities to develop themselves.
Woking Local Strategic Partnership
Woking LSP tackles deep seated, multi-faceted problems, requiring a range of responses from different bodies. Local partners working through the LSP are expected to take many of the major decisions about priorities for their local area.

brings together the principal organisations in economic development to exchange views and progress in addressing the issues facing the Surrey Economy.
takes collective action to engage business and enable business to influence public sector agenda and strategies.

SEP strives to create balanced Surrey economy, built on wealth creating knowledge industries, that can grow in harmony with its environment, promotes a culture of good corporate citizenship and contributes to the removal of social inequality.
