Local Housing Allowance Rates
From 7 April 2008 Housing Benefit in the private rented sector is changing and being replace by the new Local Housing Allowance (LHA). Further explanation about the new scheme is available for landlords and tenants.
LHA rates are calculated by the Rent Service each month. The figures for each Broad Market Rental Area are listed in the tables below. To find out what the LHA rate is for a specific property you can search by postcode on the Rent Service website.
